‘Engage’ is the explosive and gritty new single from Chase & Status. It is one of the four new cuts - 'Hardstep', 'Why' and 'Breathing (fabric VIP Mix)' - that will feature on their upcoming fabric presents Chase & Status RTRN II FABRIC mix. Including a vocal sample from the Jamaican dancehall artist Shabba Ranks, the track sonically follows the sound of their critically acclaimed 2019 album RTRN II JUNGLE.
Dropping alongside the track is an equally engaging visual filmed in fabric and directed by Billy Seeberg. Cutting up archive footage from 90s warehouse raves and dancehall events from the late 80s and blending it with freehand shots of the group in the eerie and atmospheric labyrinth maze of our club, the resulting visual is a chaotic and nostalgia inducing piece.
