Lu.Re - Feeling Like Before

Building momentum from her recent single Draw A Line, Lu.Re returns to FABRICLIVE with Feeling Like Before - a modern vocal anthem from the UK underground that captures the nostalgia, soul and movement of 90s garage and house through a distinctly 2025 lens.

“Feeling Like Before is about feeling bittersweet nostalgia for a time you can’t have back,” Lu.Re says. “I wanted the track to feel familiar, with a twist. It’s still rooted in garage influences but it feels a bit more house-leaning for me. I actually made this version to play at Mambo and originally thought of it as the ‘sunset mix’. But it felt kind of right for it - like everyone gets together for the sunset, then it’s gone. It’s a vocal track built for the club, but there’s emotion running through it too.”
